Ok ladies, and gents too, I am starting to look at strollers and car seats.
I have no idea which one to get. I have seen a ton that I like but I want some advice from those who have actually used strollers...or if you haven't you are more than welcome to leave a comment too! I don't even know where to start!
Please help me!

my best friend has a chicco car seat and stroller and it is bomb diggity(yes, i just said that), quinny zapp (i think thats whats it called) and maclaren are ones i would of gotten if i had one baby at a time.
How much you willing to spend...go for the bugaboo strollers. They are only 1000 bones at the most. Ha ha No but seriously some of the bugaboos are less than that and are still cool. I seriously would have gotten one of those! But as far as practical...the chicco ones are cool, and I like mine as far as jogging stroller goes. THe valco baby one I have. Go to babinski's and drive around their strollers, and go to toys r us, and drive them around. It makes the biggest difference, than doing it online!
P.S. Lets hang while your hubby is gone. I will make you dinner!
So not that I know anything, but my sis works at a baby boutique for fun and says that its worth it to spend the money on a bugaboo or something similar! Let me know what you discover in your research.
I have always liked the Graco. They are not the cheapest and definately not the most expensive. Way more practical. I have been looking online for one myself and they have the cutest designs and colors of any I have seen. They get high ratings too.
i did a lot of research myself when i started looking. you really need to pick a price range and then read reviews of those strollers depending on how much you want to spend. amazon and target usually have a lot of reviews. i personally have the chicco travel system and we love it. i was deciding between it and the peg perego. the peg was quite a bit more expensive, but ultimately i decided on the chicco because it had a parents tray for keys and drink and a much bigger basket underneath. usa baby on redwood road has the largest selection of strollers in utah, go drive them around. what will really end up mattering to you is how easily and compactly it folds, size of the basket, etc. graco is another good one for a reasonable price but are a little more bulky than the chiccos. i don't personally think bugaboos are worth the money and dont come as a travel system, which is less convienent.. lots of things to consider, these are my two cents... and this might be the longest comment ever.
I went with the Graco travel system (carseat that fits into matching stroller) with my first baby. I liked it but the carseat I got was a little bulkier than some. Other than that it worked great. I bought a pegperego for my double stroller and it is more expensive but a heck of a lot lighter to lift around and my graco carseat fits in that too. Just go have fun testing them all out!
so we have the chicco system and we love it! and chicco just came out with new car seats and strollers. The car seats fit up to 30 lbs (which is great if you have a chunky baby like Lola who is almost outgrowing hers). The strollers that come with the car seats are the same as the one we have, which we like but its pretty big to take on trips, so i suggest getting the Chicco Trevvi(?) stroller which will fit the car seat like a travel system but it folds up pretty small...almost like an umbrella stroller. Does this make sense?
Yeah...I have no idea! Just make sure you find a good one, so you can give me some good reccomendations when I start popping the kids out!
Matt and I have a chicco car seat and stroller and we love it. We actually also bought a graco double seater (ya know for our two babies) last week that is really nice. So its between chicco and graco. I think graco car seats might be lighter... and if you want you can use our chicco stroller since we don't need it anymore (its brown and orange). Good luck.
#1 advice, make sure it is tall enough for you! There is nothing worse than having to hunch over to push the stroller!
Travel systems rock! Oh yes, I have a combi, and I hate it. Hope this helps.
I don't have any more advice on strollers than what you already have. I wanted to tell you congratulations on the baby boy! That's cute that Eric was so excited about it. You two will be great parents. Being pregnant is so wonderful (aside from being sick) - I hope you get to enjoy it!
Natalie,
I figured I would add my two cents simply because I have recently gone through this! USA Baby had the best selection of ones to try out that I found. I ended up getting a knock-off Bugaboo made by Britax that I am in love with, one because it can be a travel system or not, depending on what you want. If you get shy of the price after you fall in love with one (like I did!) then just watch for it on Amazon. My stroller alone was supposed to be $350 but after checking about 1 time a week for about 6 weeks or so on Amazon I found it on sale for $209 so in the end I got what I wanted and paid what I wanted. Good luck to you, it's super fun to pick everything out!
