Busy, Busy, Busy!

Well the last month has been crazy!
I went up to Idaho Falls for about a week to spend some time with family and celebrate my niece Kendahl's 4th birthday. We had such a great week....almost everyday we jumped on the tramp and played on the swings. I however did NO jumping, but Kendahl and Payton wanted me to at least sit on the tramp with them. Kendahl had a great b-day party with a princess barbie cake, it was her favorite thing of the entire day.

The next week I was able to travel with Eric to Pennsylvania to visit 2 of his offices. 1st we went to Philadelphia. Thanks Jessica for keeping me entertained while I was there...we went shopping, went out to eat, and just hung out. I didn't get any pictures from this 1st visit. Next we went to Pittsburgh. Staci had a ton of little activities for me to do while I was there...we went to the building where a scene from Silence of the Lambs was filmed, went to lunch, swimming and I even went to a little baby shower. All in all it was a great week and I was able to see Eric everyday...even if it was only for an hour or so. I always love getting to spend more time with him.
This is an addition to the post: I forgot to add that Eric's family was here for Memorial Weekend...we didnt' get to spend a ton of time with them because we were in Pennsylvania but we did get to see them for a day or two. Jaden turned 3 and got a Transformers cake (which was delicious...great job Mel!).

The next week my sister and her girls came down to visit. We were hoping that the weather would be great and that we would be able to lay out, but it seemed like that wasn't meant to happen! Everyday we'd run errands and by the time we got home it would be cloudy. The girls didn't seem to mind so we filled up our little Wal-mart pool and they played for hours most of the days! Nicole and I got a ton of shopping in and also planned for my cousin Blakley's bridal shower. Thanks Nicole for all your help! On Saturday we had a great shower and Blakley walked away with tons of great stuff! Thanks to all who came!
I also got my first piece of baby furniture...my new wall unit/changing table was delivered and I am so in love with it! Can't wait to work on the rest of the nursery!

Eric and I were supposed to fly out Sunday for Sacramento and then to Florida but Eric forgot his wallet at home so our great friend Jason brought it up to the airport for us at 8AM! We still missed the flight by about 1 minute...so now we are here for a day or two and then we will be leaving! I am so excited for some really HOT weather!

Eric has been super busy with work while he's been here but has managed to do the following:
-Plant a new tree...that I love!
-Make plans to totally change our house...yep a complete remodel (details to come!)
-Work, work, work!
-Oh and find a grey hair on top of his head! I think he's been stressin a little too much lately!

Here is the latest picture of my ever growing belly!
I am now over 24 weeks (6 months down...3 and a 1/2 to go!)
I have a feeling that I am going to be HUGE by September! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

This is a picture of my sister, me, and my sister in law. Nicole is almost 27 weeks, I am 22 weeks, and Lisa is 20 weeks! We are all due within about 6 weeks of each other...
It has been so fun to all be pregnant at the same time. Can't wait for August when I will get a new niece, then September to have a new nephew and also to welcome our own sweet baby boy!

Happy Mother's Day

There never was a woman like her. She was gentle as a dove and brave as a lioness. The memory of my mother and her teachings were, after all, the only capital I had to start life with, and on that capital I have made my way.-- Andrew Jackson.
Today I am grateful for the many "mother's" in my life.
First off my own mom. She is the most wonderful woman that I know. She has always been there for me and I know that she always will. She is a great example of love, compassion, strength, and so much more. She will never know the ends to which she has changed and shaped my life. I am grateful that she is an everyday part of my life, giving me that great example of motherhood to follow after.
Second is Eric's mom. I am so grateful to have such a terrific mother in law. She raised Eric to be such a great man and husband. I will forever be grateful to her for him. She is also a great example to me and to all those she is surrounded by. Thank you for all your love and support that you give to me.
Then there is my sister. She is truly my best friend. I love her more than I could express. I am so thankful for her and for the loving example she is to me.
She has given me 2 of my greatest joys in life, my nieces.

My sister in law Mel is also another example of a great mother.
She has shown me how to raise little boys...something I will need in the near future! I truly love each of those little boys! Then to Lisa...she is "almost" a mother...I think that it counts already! :)
Lisa is expecting her first baby boy in September. She is going to be a great mother. She is kind, loving, sweet, and has so many great qualities that I adore! Can't wait for her to be a mother and to have another little nephew!

And to all Eric and I's grandmothers, Aunts, and cousins who are such great mothers. If I listed all of them and said what I cherished about each it would go on forever! Just know that I am so grateful for each of you and Love you all more than you could know!

And to our many great friends who are mothers. I am so grateful that you are a part of my life and have shown me what it takes to be a great mom and have given me so much needed advice.

I look forward to being a Mother. I am so excited for September when this little baby will join our family!

Over the Bump...I mean Hump!

Well I am now over 20 weeks along!
I can't believe that I am 5 months already or that I still have about 5 left!

I was feeling a little better, but my stupid doctor wants me to lessen my nausea medication. So I started to reduce my milligrams per day and now I feel like crap again...so I am waiting a couple more days and then I'll call my doctor.

This little boy is moving like crazy, especially at night. It is such a fun feeling and it's amazing to know that there's a little baby in there.

I haven't really started on the nursery yet but that will come soon. I have been doing some spring cleaning and getting rid of a ton of stuff, hoping to make room for some baby gear.

Well here are some new pictures of my ever growing belly. I actually like having a baby belly, I just know that it won't last forever and in a couple months (or weeks) I'm going to probably not like it as much!
But for now...I'm loving it!

Sorry the pictures aren't so great...I have to take them myself!

IT'S A BOY!!!

Well  we finally know that we will be having a little boy!  Eric and I are both so excited.  During the ultrasound when the doctor told us that it was a boy Eric got so excited...he gave my mom a high 5 and then just kept laughing and clapping!  It was pretty cute to see how excited he was.

It was such an awesome experience for both of us.  This is the first time I really felt pregnant.  It all seemed so real and it hit me...I'm going to be a MOM!  I guess you could say my hormones/emotions kicked in a little...it was a very sweet experience.

I know that ultrasound pics are kind of hard to see sometimes but I couldn't resist showing some!

The Bump!!

Well it's been awhile since I've updated my blog.
Things are going good. I started taking a new medication about 3 weeks ago and that has seemed to help a little. I still feel sick all day long but I'm not throwing up as much so that is a plus! We are at 14 weeks (3 1/2 months), and time is definitely not flying by. I am hoping that the morning sickness is coming to an end and that I can soon enjoy this pregnancy.
Eric is still convinced we are having a boy and I am hoping for a girl, but honestly as long as the baby is healthy we both will be very happy!
So some of you have been asking if I'm starting to show so I figured it's about time for some pictures...

To some of you it may not look like I am showing but as I told Eric...if you want us to be friends you will say that I am because I know my stomach didn't look like this 3 months ago! :)

(I really know that I'm not showing that much but as most of you know your first pregnancy you want to show...at least at first!)
