December 2012

We had a very busy December.

We started the tradition of the elf on the shelf.

Maddix and Emery both loved having Blitz the elf come everyday and see what mischief he got himself into during the night.

We had a lot of Christmas parties and events.

We went to the annual Sims Christmas party at Grandma Gayle and Grandpa Bobs.

 We went to Christmas in The Village at Maddix's school.  He loved singing in the show and his favorite song was "Santa Claus is coming to town."

 We also had Eric's work party up in Salt Lake City.  The kids loved the photo booth

And the highlight of the night was going ice skating for their first time.  They both loved it.  I was sad I couldn't go out with them but Staci and daddy took them around the rink and they had a blast!

                                               

 Eric took Maddix and Emery out for a ride on the razor in the snow and they loved it!

Daddy went with us to the Dinosaur museum

 We went sledding a bunch, even if it was out in the front yard.

 We took a trip up to Soldier Hollow to go tubing on the hill and it was so cold!  We didn't last very long and only took one trip down the hill.  Emery was so cold and could not quit crying about her hands.

 These two are becoming great friends and love their nights when they get to play in the tub!

 I love how Maddix concentrates so hard and sticks his tongue out
