Last week we went up to Idaho Falls for a couple days to celebrate Payton's birthday and also to be there when Nicole and Brady blessed Dhylan. Maddix did so well in the car and slept almost the whole way. He also accomplished another huge thing while we were there...he now sleeps in his own bed and not with mommy! I must admit that this was a little hard for me. I was being selfish and just wanted to keep him sleeping with me, but he actually does quite well sleeping on his own...I shed a few tears over this :)
The birthday and blessing were great and we can't wait to bless our little guy in a week!

That is the cutest pic of Maddix and Dhylan! Such a cute couple!! And isn't it crazy how sad we get when our babies sleep in a different bed?! I remember with Jace I finally put him in a crib in the other room when he was 4 mo. old and I kept on checking on him to make sure he was ok. He actually slept through the night for the first time once I did move him. Crazy. Your little man is too cute!

im so glad he did well in the car. then you can make the trip to see your sister frequently! hope he keeps that up for your sake. and im impressed he moved to his own bed already. boss didn't until he was 4 months, and i cried like a baby.
I LOVE Maddix's little church outfit! That's is so cute! I can't get over how much he looks like Eric! And that's so fun that he has 2 cousins that are his same age!

Oh He is so cute Natalie!! Wow I am impressed you got him in his own bed! Ireland wouldnt have it until about 10 months. Yep thats right she slept with us for 10 months but we loved it! Yes we will be here Halloween weekend, do you still think you might come?

It is incredible that a baby as little as Dhylan could already look like the spitting image of her mom!!! Your right, you guys could never switch babies :) I love Maddix's church outfit!!!
